The Houston Cancer Institute (HCI) was established in 1984 by Dr. Maria Scouros, an internationally recognized physician who is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.

The main campus is conveniently located at 1220 Blalock, two minutes north of Katy Freeway, also known as Interstate I-10.   There is plenty of free parking at the door and easy access to the building.

Branch offices are located in Sugar Land and Clear Lake.

The philosophy and mission of HCI is to provide unique, state-of-the-art cancer treatment and education to patients by personalizing their journey to healing. 

The emotional and spiritual well-being of caregivers and family is also respected and nurtured.  Patients at the Houston Cancer Institute receive innovative care in a supportive, personal environment.

Cancer treatment for executives and celebrities is provided with the utmost privacy.
