Clinical Psychologist and NeuropsychologistDr. George Vroulis, will lead weekly support group meetings on Cancer: Tips on Dealing with the Stress of the Diagnosis at the Houston Cancer Institute on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 11 am until noon, at the Houston Cancer Institute, 1220 Blalock, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77055.  Open to the public for free.

 

Patients and their families will be invited to a first monthly Wednesday evening with Dr. Vroulis, starting on Wednesday, April 7th, at 7 PM.  This lecture and discussion supports patients on their journey to good health!  Refreshments served.

 

The Houston Cancer Institute, PA, is pleased to welcome Dr. George Vroulis, Ph.D., to the practice as Consulting Psychologist.  Dr. Vroulis has joined the Houston Cancer Institute, PA, as Consulting Psychologist to provide special programs for patients and their families, assisting them with their journey from cancer to better health.  Topics embrace dealing with the stress of the cancer diagnosis, stress management, and grief management for patients with a terminal disease, as well as other support programs. 

 

Dr. Vroulis is also available for private counseling sessions that will often be covered by health insurance plans.  He is also a popular speaker in cancer care and recovery circles for a variety of organizations.

Dr. Vroulis, licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, since 1979, is well known in Houston and Greece, for his practice and academic work in the field of psychology and neuropsychology.

The Monday professional support group is open to the public, whether or not a patient at Houston Cancer Institute.  Patients are encouraged to invite their family and friends to join them for this free program.  There is plenty of free parking at the door.  Refreshments will be served.
