Houston Cancer Institute presents the
Understanding Your Laboratory Results:  A Cancer Patient's Toolbox

A free lecture that is open to the public.

Houston, Texas - - - - - Dr. Maria Scouros will be the physician lecturer at the Houston Cancer Institute’s cancer support group on Monday, 25 March 2009, at 2 PM, at 1220 Blalock, in Suite 200.  Dr. Scouros, board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, will speak on Understanding Your Laboratory Tests:  A Cancer Patient’s Toolbox.

Houston Cancer Institute’s cancer support groups meet weekly and are free of charge and open to the community, whether or not patients at the Houston Cancer Institute.  The peer support group meets on Mondays from 11AM until noon, at 1220 Blalock, Houston, TX 77055, Suite 200.  The office is two minutes north of I-10, known as Katy Freeway.  A physician from the Houston Cancer Institute speaks at the support group on the fourth Monday of the month. 

The Houston Cancer Institute (HCI), PA, was founded by international hematologist and oncologist, Dr. Maria A. Scouros, in 1984.  The main campus is located at 1220 Blalock, Houston 77055.  Branch offices are in Sugar Land and Clear Lake.  Support groups are also available in Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean.
