The Houston Cancer Institute Offers the Cancer Community Support Groups

Houston, Texas- - - - -The Houston Cancer Institute, PA, is offering new support groups for patients undergoing chemo-therapy.  The support groups are free of charge and open to the community, whether or not patients at the Houston Cancer Institute.  The groups are meeting once a week on Monday from 2 PM until 3 PM, at 1220 Blalock, Houston, TX 77055, Suite 200.  The office is one block north of I-10.  There is plenty of free parking at the door.  Refreshments are served.  For more information and to RSVP, call registered oncology nurse, Nancy Ponterella, RN, O.C.N., at 713-464-9559.

On January 26th, the Director of the Houston Cancer Institute, Dr. Maria Scouros, will be the guest speaker at the Support Group meeting at 2 PM, on After Cancer is Diagnosed, What's Next?

The Houston Cancer Institute (HCI), PA, was founded by international hematologist and oncologist, Dr. Maria A. Scouros, in 1984.   Support groups are offered in Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, and Chinese.
